Camilo
Camilo: o último guerrilleiro de Galicia is a documentary that focuses on the life of Camilo de Dios, the last surviving guerrilla warrior in Galicia. Through his story we seek to recover the historical memory of the anti-Francoist guerrilla. Defending his memory and himself as a piece of history, Camilo is the only witness that can lend a voice to so many people who, like him, risk everything for justice and freedom.

I was born in A Coruña. I am responsible for overseeing everything even when things get chaotic. Without organisation, you cannot form ideas; without procedure, the ideas will never materialise; without order, it is impossible to make the ideas stronger.

I grew up in A Coruña, in the Monte Alto neighbourhood. I think that adding depth to content and immersing yourself in each story, no matter how small, is a duty and a necessary exercise, because when you write things down, the words never die.
